We visited Juliana this Christmas evening with grandparents and aunt and uncle in tow. She has stayed steady with her CPAP at +5 but her feeds have increased to 8.5 ml per hour. We dressed her up in a Christmas outfit and took a family photo. We will post it tomorrow. Juliana also received some Christmas presents! She got a “Daddy loves me” preemie onesy in pink and brown with matching pantsm She got a similar “Mommy loves me” onesy that is a little bit bigger. She got a 3-6 month size Baltimore Ravens onesy with matching hat and booties that she can wear next fall. Pictures of all her gifts will be posted tomorrow.

Merry Christmas to your beautiful family! Looking forward to your new pics. God bless you all!

I assume it’s you, Jason, who is excited about the ravens onesie…and I really hate to break it to you…but there’s a good chane she’ll be sporting her team in the summer…the chances of her being in a 3-6 month onesie when she’s 9+mos is slim…boston is a few months behing-but not more than 4. If you look at it in the right light…the fact that she won’t be wearing her pride in the form of that onesie in october is a good thing…means she’s getting BIG:) and also means daddy gets to do some more nfl shopping;) have fun and think on how well she’s doing this christmas because I promise (from personal experience) the next year will fly by and christmas 2010 will be here and she will be huge(always by comaprison) and you’ll wonder how she’s gone from

so fun to see her today! such a sweet little niece i have!

Susan, I’m so glad you did the breaking… I’ve been smiling about that all evening. I found that my boys were true-to-size by their gestational age, though there’s a little give here and there. It’s only about now (they’re 28 mos), that they have made up those months’ lag between birthdate and due date. Even so, Feb+6 = August.
And remembering Katie’s comment from around Thanksgiving about eating turkey in 2 years. I know Juliana (or I should say Jason) will have it whizzed up in her peas next year.
What babies do in their first year is INCREDIBLE. What Juliana has done already… miraculous!

I would add, true to size by gestational age after the 0-3 months size… they come home small (preemie size), and quickly fill things out.
