    Is that your hand, Jason? Wow, what precious little girls you guys have! Can’t wait to see more pictures as the heal and grow bigger! How very exciting!

  3. Jason says:

    My wedding ring could probably fit around her wrist.

    Father, hold this precious child in Your hands, and give her healing andstrength in the name of Jesus.

    Excellent perspective with the hand! :-) They make me giggle sometimes.

    Actually, Jason, some of the pictures I saw of other 24 week preemies were wearing their daddy’s ring around their wrists. That is so hard to even imagine how truly tiny they are! Such a miracle! You guys are truly blessed!!!

    i have a picture of the nurse holding chase up to zero out the scale. i call it, “the two handfuls of chase.” and, i kept a diaper or two from the pack of the tiniest ones they wore. it hasn’t been that long, but i look at those little diapers, little bracelets and eye patches, and it’s just amazing! you forget how tiny “tiny” is.

    What a precious picture–although before you know it she will be fussing at you for taking a revealing picture. Oh well–it’s a parent’s prerogative to do that! It’s so much fun to think of you both with babies. It brings a smile and like Katie said–a giggle. Happy Happy! Joy Joy! We will keep praying for you all; you are greatly loved.

    Psalm 71:5 For you have been my hope, O Sovereign LORD,
    my confidence since my youth.

    6 From birth I have relied on you;
    you brought me forth from my mother’s womb.
    I will ever praise you.

    This makes me remember how fragile life is, but also that God is strong. We are all just as fragile as these precious baby girls. We need to hold onto God’s mighty hand. Thank you for sharing this inspiring photo.

    I don’t know if Jen remembers me or not but I go too the Calhoud SDA Church where Ray and the girls used to be members. When I heard of yuor joys and sorrow it touched my heart. I am praying for yuor family that the girls will grow strong and not have any lasting handicaps. God is an awesome and powerful God and it doesn’t matter what the doctors say HE can do way more than any man thinks possible, I’ve seen it!! God bless you and heal you all!
